Igor Porokhin studied international and legal problems of commercial space activities. For 11 years, he has been participating in the development of Space Protocol for international guarantees in relation to movable equipment. He was the head of the workgroup engaged in the drafting of rules for the maintenance of the International register of space vehicles.
In 2013, he acted as a judge in Manfred Lachs Space Law Moot Court Competition in Japan. The speaker received a number of prestige awards. He gives lectures on space law in Denmark, Poland, Sweden, Finland, and Japan.
